Biblical Studies Certificate

The Biblical Studies Certificate (BSC) is a 21 hour certificate focusing on developing a solid grasp on the overarching story of Scripture in context. The program takes two years and is open to preachers and teachers of the Bible who are actively involved in ministry. The BSC is available for women who recognize their God-given responsibility to teach other women and raise up the next generation of sound Bible-believing Christians. Students are required only to have a standard high-school diploma for admission to the BSC. For this degree, students must be able to function fluently in the Burmese language.

Master of Ministry

The Master of Ministry (M.Min) is a two-year degree comprised of 42 total credit hours. The degree focuses primarily on the ministry of expository preaching.  This degree is ideal for pastors who are active in a preaching ministry and sense the need to improve their ability to rightly handle the word of God. Admission for this degree is open only to men who are actively serving in a pastoral role as a regular preacher. Students are required to have a bachelor’s level degree for admission. For this degree, students must be able to function fluently in the Burmese language.

Master of Arts in Theological Studies

The Master of Arts in Theological Studies (MATS) is a three-year degree comprised of 70 total credit hours. In addition to the focus on expository preaching, this degree covers all ten major doctrines of theology and provides thorough training in the Greek and Hebrew languages.  This degree requires a greater level of time commitment, but it dives deeper into exegesis and will do more to satisfy the pastor’s desire to read and understand the Bible in the original languages. Admission for this degree is open only to men who are actively serving in a pastoral role as a regular preacher. Students are required to have a bachelor’s level degree for admission. For this degree, students must be able to function fluently in the English language.

Master of Divinity

The Master of Divinity (M.Div) is a four-year degree comprised of 98 total credit hours. The M.Div. will be available only for students with the highest academic ability. This degree is appropriate for pastors who seek to serve with a broad understanding of Christian doctrine and history. Admission for this degree is open only to men who are actively serving in a pastoral role as a regular preacher. Students are required to have a bachelor’s level degree for admission. For this degree, students must be able to function fluently in the English language.
